Graveside services for Austin Deanta Chambers, six months, of

Waynesboro, were conducted on Saturday, Nov. 12, 2022 from Pineville

Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery, with Pastor George Barnett

officiating.

Born on April 17, 2022, he died on Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2022 at Wayne

General Hospital.

He is survived by his mother, DeFerreynna Waters; her father, Akeem

Chambers; a brother, Akeem Chambers, Jr.; two sisters, Bernard Page and

British Chambers; and his grandparents, Wyomia Waters, Janet Chambers

and L.C. Chambers.

McDonald and Sons Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of

arrangements.

DANIEL HOLLINGHEAD

July 24, 1950-Nov. 7, 2022

Funeral services for Daniel Hollinghead, 72, of Leakesville, were

conducted on Thursday, Nov. 10, 2022 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral

Home, with Rev. Steve Watts officiating.

Interment followed at Sandridge Cemetery in Millry, Ala.

Born in Washington County, Ala., on Monday, July 24, 1950 to Ernest

Hollinghead, Sr., and Viola Hollinghead, he had worked as a

Self-Employed Farmer.

He died on Monday, Nov. 7, 2022 at Leakesville Rehabilitation and

Nursing Center in Leakesville.

He is survived by his three sisters and a brother-in-law, Velma

Hollinghead of Chatom, Ala., Dollie Blount of Waynesboro and Diane and

Billy Smith of Millry.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ernest Hollinghead, Sr.; his

mother, Viola Hollinghead; his son, Glenn Hollinghead; four brothers,

James Hollinghead, Fred Hollinghead, Harold Hollinghead and Earnest

Hollinghead, Jr.; and three sisters, Pearl Dearmon, Sue West and Betty

Smith.

BRUNETTE SMITH JONES

Dec. 5, 1968-Oct. 27, 2022

Funeral services for Brunette Smith Jones, 53, of Waynesboro, were

conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 2, 2022 from New Vision Baptist Church,

with Rev. Dr. Ecclesiastes Goodwin, Sr., officiating.

Internment followed at New Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery.

Born on Dec. 5, 1968, she was a Social Worker with the Mississippi

Department of Child Protective Services.

She died on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Curtis Jones; her son, Jared Cortez

Jones; her daughter, Jasmine Jones; her mother, Werdia Smith; an uncle

and three aunts; four cousins who were more like her brothers; and a

cousin who was more like her sister.
