LENNON "TOOTSIE" CHAPMAN

Graveside services for Lennon "Tootsie" Chapman, 78, of Shubuta, were 
conducted on Saturday, March 21, 2026 from New Pilgrim Church Cemetery, 
with Rev. John Lacy officiating.

Born on March 21, 1947, he worked in the logging industry.

He died on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at his residence.

He is survived by his son, Lamont Chapman; his daughters, Kayla Chapman 
Johnson and Angela Chapman; his siblings, Cindy Dunn and Chris Chapman; 
his grandchildren and their spouses, Zackery and Mykal Duncan, Desmond 
Chapman, Takia Chapman, Makayla Johnson, Mason Johnson and Kason 
Chapman; his great-grandchildren, Ashlynn Chapman, Dior Duncan and 
Hendrix Duncan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Annie Chapman; his parents, Jack 
and Virgie Chapman; two brothers and three sister.

McDonald and Sons Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of 
arrangements.
