Petition with the State Oil and Gas Board of Mississippi in the
above-referenced docket requesting that the Board grant the following
relief: Authorize Petitioner to convert the R. West Well No. 1 (the
"Well") to a saltwater disposal well. The Well is located at a
surface location that is 2549 feet North of the South line and 1872 feet
West of the East line of Section 13, Township 9 North, Range 8 West,
Wayne County, Mississippi, in the West Yellow Creek Field Unit.
Petitioner proposes to reenter and convert the Well to a saltwater
disposal well for the disposal of produced saltwater and produced
fluids. The proposed injection zone is at the depths of 5,646 feet to
6,386 feet in the Tuscaloosa Formation, and in the downthrown non-
productive Eutaw Formation at the depths of 5,410 to 5,646 feet. Tellus
requests an exception to the requirement of Statewide Rule 63 that calls
for 100 feet of cement above the upper most injection perforation.
