Funeral services for Harvey J. Hull, 66, of Waynesboro, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from New Vision Baptist Church, with Pastor Ricky Chambers, Sr., officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2022 from the Chapel of McDonald and Sons Funeral Home.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Serenity Gardens.

Born on Aug. 9,1 955, he was the former Public Works Director for the City of Waynesboro and was also a Self-Employed Contractor.

He died on Friday, March 25, 2022 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife, Sytrecia Hull; two sons, Mario Hull and Jamarcus Hull; a stepson, Chris Busby; three daughters, Wanda Capble, Tonya Caple and Olympia Aisha Hull-Smith; his siblings and their respective spouses, Ida Griffin, Brownie Sparkman and Robert Hull of Walnut Grove, Larry Hull of Racine, Wisc., Terry Sparkman, Sheila Hull, Tamara and John Bradley, Jackie and Darren Bumpers, Rev. Ricky and Sheretha Chambers, Kathy Hinton and Jason and Zurita Chambers; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Turnage Hull; his mother, Johnnie Ruth Hull; a son, Cedric McGill; a brother, James Hull; and a sister, Faris Hull-Atkins.

McDonald and Sons Funeral Home of Waynesboro is in charge of arrangements.
