FREE ARTICLE — Community Wide Prayer Walk Saturday

November 06, 2025

A Community Wide Prayer Walk will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the courthouse parking lot.

The Walk will proceed from the parking lot at the courthouse to Rhinehart Square. Prayer prompts will be posted along the route with specific needs for the community. Everyone is welcome to join local churches, pastors and residents in a united prayer event.

Those participating will gather in the parking lot in front of the old Justice Court and school district offices, and everyone is asked to park where they can. It is being suggested that some people may want to park at Rhinhehart Square and then walk over to the courthouse parking lot in order to relieve traffic congestion.

Because of Amnesty day activities taking place closer to the courthouse, some areas may be roped off. Patrons are asked not to cross into those roped off areas for safety reasons.

After prayers for law enforcement and the community at the courthouse parking lot, the walk to Rhinehart Square will begin.

Once at Rhinehart Square, more prayers will be offered and the facility will have areas where prayers will be offered for specific things in the community. There will also be an area where pastors and church leaders will be available to pray for specific individual prayer needs.

Everyone is asked to join in this community wide event to offer prayer and healing for the entire county.
