LORIE "LALA" FULMER

Funeral services for Lorie "LaLa" Fulmer, 64, of Laurel, will be at 10 
a.m. on Friday, Oct. 31, 2025 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, 
with Rev. Andy Scott officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on 
Thursday, Oct. 30, 2025 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.
Following the funeral service, interment will take place at White House 
Cemetery in Waynesboro.
Born in Lincoln, Neb., on Monday, Jan. 2, 1961 to the late James Lewis 
and Jeanette Wise, she worked as a Graphic Designer at Mall Printers and 
loved being a Freelance Artist.
She died on Sunday, Oct. 26, 2025 at South Central Regional Medical 
Center in Laurel.
She is survived by her loving son and daughter-in-law, Justin and 
Jessica Fulmer of Laurel; her brother, J. Robert Lewis of Waynesboro; 
her sister and brother-in-law, Deb and Mike Gradick of Mobile, Ala.; her 
precious twin granddaughters, Aria and Delaney Fulmer; and a host of 
nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, James Lewis; her mother, 
Jeanette Wise; her brother, Mitchell Lewis; and her sister, Kimberly 
Holifield.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Least of These Animal 
Rescue in Laurel.

NANCY (HANCOCK) BAYGENTS

Graveside services for Nancy (Hancock) Baygents, 74, of Waynesboro, were 
conducted on Monday, Oct. 27, 2025 from Baygents-Dyess Cemetery in 
Waynesboro, with Rev. Tommy Davis officiating.
Born in Victoria, Va., on Friday, Nov. 10, 1950 to the late Virginia and 
James Hancock, she was a member of Southern Methodist Church of 
Waynesboro. She retired as a Clerk at Wayne County Circuit Clerk and 
Wayne General Home Health and Hospice.
She died on Friday, Oct. 24, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
She is survived by her loving husband of 34 years, Jamie Baygents of 
Waynesboro; her son, Dennie Kessler of Virginia; her stepdaughter, 
Denise Baygents Barnett of Missouri; her sister, Jackie Hancock of 
Virginia; and two step-granddaughters, Abbey and Kyeligh Barnett of 
Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Virginia and James Hancock; 
and her brother, John Hancock.
