Funeral services for Nancy Elizabeth Harris, 89, of Waynesboro, will be
at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025 from Little Rock Assembly of God
Church, with Rev. Ryan Powers and Rev. Bruce Cooley officiating.
Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2025 from the
Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, followed by a lie-in-state from 9-10
a.m. at the church.

Born in Waynesboro on Friday, Nov. 8, 1935 to Sim Davis and Vada Davis,
she was a member of Little Rock Assembly of God Church. She was retired
as a Machine Operator at Wells Lamont.

She died on Thursday, Oct. 2, 2025 at her residence.
She is survived by her son, Curtis Lassiter of State Line; four
daughters and two sons-in-law, Shirley Jones of Valdosta, Ga., Nancy
Lassiter of Waynesboro, Vickie and David Hopkins of Williamstown, Ken.,
and Loree and Eddie Lovell of Powder Springs, Ga.; two brothers-in-law
and a sister-in-law, Griffin and Brenda Carter and William Ray
Henderson, all of Waynesboro; 12 grandchildren, a host of
great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin C. Harris; her faith,
Sim Davis, her mother, Vada Davis, infant twin girls; three brothers,
Carter Davis, Clifton Davis and Clyde Ray Davis; and four sisters, Edna
Bell Gibson, EVa Corvino, Agnes Russell and Rebecca Brewer.
