Reservoir Road bridge closed on Wednesday; to remain closed until further notice

The Reservoir Road causeway bridge near Maynor Creek Water Park will be 
closed to all traffic beginning at 8:30 a.m., on Wednesday, Sept. 17 and 
will remain closed until further notice.

The repair timetable will depend upon good weather and any unforeseen 
construction delays.

Established detour routes will include:

• From U.S. Highway 84 near the Baptist Children's Village west of 
Waynesboro, use North Maynor Creek Drive to access Reservoir Road west 
of Maynor Creek Water Park.

• From Mississippi Highway 63 north of Clara School, use Maynor Creek 
Drive Road to access Reservoir Road west of Maynor Creek Water Park.

Reservoir Road between Mississippi Highway 184 and the causeway will be 
limited to local traffic only. Access to the Maynor Creek Water Park 
side of the causeway will only be available through the listed detour 
routes.
