Funeral services for Ellen Ann Walters, 62, of Waynesboro, will be at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 24, 2022 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Moore officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Shirley Place Cemetery in Wayne County.

Born in Waynesboro on Thursday, March 26, 1959 to George H. Mizell and Annabelle Mizell, she was a Homemaker.

She died on Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital.

She is survived by her husband, Freddie L. Walters, Sr., of Waynesboro; her son and daughter-in-law, Freddie L. and Brandy Walters, Jr., of Waynesboro; her daughter and son-in-law, Felicia and Brady Kelley of Waynesboro; her brother, Randy Mizell of Meridian; five grandchildren, Cole Walters, Allison Mills, Katelyn Walters, Brayton Kelley and Anna Jaye Kelly; and two great-grandchildren, Colten Walters and Layne Walters.

She was preceded in death by her father, George H. Mizell; her mother, Annabelle Mizell; her stepmother, Alice Mason Mizell; and her brother, George A. Mizell.
