Funeral services for Tracy McGill, 48, of Waynesboro, were conducted on
Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025 from Philadelphia Missionary Baptist Church,

Born on Jan. 11, 1977, he began working at T.K. Stanley at an early age
and later built a career as a Licensed CDL Truck Driver, proudly
navigating the highways with skill and dedication.

He died on Thursday, Aug. 14, 2025 at Forrest General Hospital in

He is survived by his daughters, Tracey McGill and Latorshia Williamson,
both of Waynesboro; his siblings and their respective spouses, Mark
McGill, Kenya McGill, Jamal McGill, Tekeyia McGill and Demetrias Richey,
all of Laurel, and Marzell and Maude McGill of Petal; his grandchildren,
Ava and Devin Causey, Jr., both of Waynesboro; a host of nieces,
nephews, aunts and cousins and two special friends in Tina and Milman.

Born in Batesville on Friday, Aug. 30, 1935 to the late William and
Elizabeth Hood, she was a member of Southern Methodist Church of
Waynesboro. She retired as a Group Home Caregiver.

John Walker of Waynesboro; five grandchildren and their respective

Morgan Walker, Misti Hoover and Kayle Beth Southerland; her
granddaughter-in-love, Amanda Ward; 14 great-grandchildren with one on
the way and a host of very special nieces and nephews who she loved as
her own.
