Printed paper won't have storm coverage due to early deadline
March 05, 2025
Thursday's edition of The Wayne County News was sent to press late Tuesday afternoon as staff at the local office and the press room decided to err on the side of safety with the severe storms rolling through.
With that said, this week's edition will not include any coverage of the storms that hit the county Tuesday night. Instead, updates and stories will be posted to this website and everyone will be able to read the stories free of charge.
We regret any inconvenience this might cause but the safety of our staff — especially those on the road delivering the paper from the presses — is paramount. We trust that you will understand.
If you would like to submit photos of storm damage for publication in the March 13 edition, please email them to news@thewaynecountynews.com.
