Graveside services for Jane Ross Hutto, 79, of Clara, will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2, 2022 from White House Cemetery, with Rev. Amanda Cooley Malone officiating.

Born in Waynesboro on Tuesday, Sept. 22, 1942 to John Terry Ross and Priscilla Mills Ross, she was a member of Clara First Church of God. She worked more than 20 years in the Banking industry and later retired after 20 years of service as a Justice Court Judge for the Wayne County Court System.

She died on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.

She is survived by her son, Terry Hutto of Waynesboro; her daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Bobo Smith of Clara; her sister and brother-in-law, Betsy and Freddy Bazor of Clara; and two grandsons, Chan Smith of Clara and Ross Hutto of Millry, Ala.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert L. Hutto; her father, John Terry Ross; and her mother, Priscilla Ross.
