Funeral services for Brother Ricky Revette, 62, of Buckatunna, will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2022 from Buckatunna First Baptist Church, with Dr. Terry Williams and Rev. John Brown officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 31, 2022 from the Buckatunna First Baptist Church Life Center.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Buckatunna First Baptist Cemetery.

Born in Waynesboro on Monday, Sept. 7, 1959 to Clyde Revette and Kitty Revette, he was Pastor of Springback Baptist Church in Chatom, Ala., for 20 years. He was the Owner and Operator of Revette Muffler Shop for 40 years.

He died on Saturday, Jan. 29, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Sherry Revette of Buckatunna; his father, Clyde Revette of Buckatunna; his mother, Kitty Revette of Buckatunna; two daughters and a son-in-law, Janna R. and Matthew Reynolds and Lauren Revette Brown of Buckatunna; his brother and sister-in-law, Greg and Regina Revette of Buckatunna; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Laura and Jerry Kelley of Buckatunna and Teresa and Steve Martin of Hattiesburg; his mother-in-law, Blossom Hutto of Clara; five grandchildren, Raegyn Reynolds, Mason Brown, Rowan Brown, Finn Reynolds and Daschell Brown; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Nig Hutto.

Pallbearers will be Marc Kelley, Blake Revette, Cobi' Crager, Justin Creightan, Jeremy Carr, Quint Crager, Scott Revette and Patrick Revette.
