MARGARET MASON DUVALL

Funeral services for Margaret Mason Duvall, 85, of Waynesboro, were conducted on Monday, Jan. 17, 2022 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Joe Williams and Rev. Fawzy Shorrosh officiating.
Interment followed at Chapparal Cemetery.
Born in Hattiesburg on Wednesday, March 4, 1936 to C.P. Mason and Ethel Mason, she was a member of Chapparal Baptist Church.
She died on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Teddy and Teresa Duvall of Waynesboro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Nancy Duvall Jonson and Amy Duvall and Frank Breazeale, all of Meridian; two grandsons and their respective spouses, Jaret and Gabby Duvall of Waynesboro and Chandelr Culwell of Saint Louisville, Ohio; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Ted Duvall, Sr.; her father, C.P. Mason; her mother, Ethel Mason; and four brothers, Julian Mason, Dan Mason, Jay Mason and C.P. Mason, Jr.

JAMES EARNEST STEVISON

James Earnest Stevison, 70, of Waynesboro, died on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022 at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Born in Waynesboro on Wednesday, Jan. 24, 1951 to Earnest Stevison and Olevia Stevison, he had worked as a Farm Laborer.
He is survived by his son, James Darren Stevison of Waynesboro; four sisters, Avis Atchison, Iola Bunch and Janet Hudson, all of Waynesboro, and Joann Thornton of Memphis, Tenn.; and two grandchildren, Olevia Stevison and Garret Stevison.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Stevison; his mother, Olevia Stevison; two brothers, Martin Stevison and Leebert Stevison; and a sister, Earnestine Williams.

BETTY JOE MOSLEY ROBINSON
May 4, 1948-Jan. 10, 2022
Graveside services for Betty Joe Mosley Robinson, 73, were conducted on Friday, Jan. 14, 2022 from State Line Cemetery.
Born on May 4, 1948 to Katherine Mosely and Floyd Grice in the Battles community, she was raised by her aunt, Mattie Simpson, as if she was her biological child.
She graduated from Riverview High School in Waynesboro in 1967. She was a factory worker for several years before taking a job with the South Mississippi Correctional Institution. She worked there for 17 years before retiring on Dec. 31, 2010.
A member of Mt. Moriah Missionary Baptist Church in State Line, she married Clennon Robinson on Feb. 6, 2009.
She died on Monday, Jan. 10, 2022 at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro.
She is survived by her devoted aunt, Mattie Simpson of the Battles community; 10 siblings and their respective spouses, Alfred and Susie Simpson of Knobtown, Marilyn and Billie Jordan of Columbus, Ga., Claude and Carla Simpson of San Diego, Calif., Pamela and Elton Akins of Madison, Ala., Paulette and Charles Collins, Sr., Carrie and Stanley Anderson and Derrick and Darlene Grice, all of Mohoba, Philestine Ward Hill and Frank Allen Ward, Jr., both of State Line, and Willie E. and Clara Grice of Meridian; two sisters-in-law, Janice Robinson of St. Albans, N.Y, and Lindora Hall of Bronx, N.Y.; a brother-in-law and his spouse, Joe and Argirtha Bradley of Chicago, Ill.; a goddaughter, Shaderrian Lett of Moss Point; and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends who loved her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clennon Robinson; her parents, Katherine Mosley Chess and Floyd Grice; her stepmother, Zella Mae Grice; her sister, Hazel Pearl Grice; two brothers, Clarence E. Johnson and Edward J. Mosley; and two brothers-in-law, Alexander Robinson and Samuel Robinson.
