Funeral services for Frankie Zell McLain, 82, of Strengthford, will be

at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2024 from McLain Chapel Assemy of God

Church, with Rev. Heath Hayes, Rev. Trey Beck and Rev. Marvin Griffin

officiating.

Interment will follow at McLain Chapel Cemetery.

Born in Waynesboro on Sunday, Nov. 9, 1941 to Frank and Zella Pacey, she

was a member of McLain Chapel Assembly of God Church. She worked as an

Assistant Manager with Walmart.

She died on Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024 at her residence.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Bryan and Helen McLain

of Strengthford; her daughters and sons-in-law, Peggy and Crow of

Strengthford, Betty and Tony Holder of Laurel, Sandra McLain of

Strengthford and Elizabeth and Michael Jay Andrews of Strengthford; 12

grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and

several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold "Coon" McLain; her

father, Frank Pacey; her mother, Zella Pacey; and her brothers, Floyd

Pacey and Gene Pacey.

Funeral services for LaFaye "Faye" Hester, 85, of Millry, Ala., were

conducted on Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2024 from North Oak Grove Baptist Church

in Millry, with Rev. Ken Beasley and Rev. Ronnie Morris officiating.

Interment followed at North Oak Grove Cemetery in Washington County,

Ala.

Born in Millry on Tuesday, July 16, 1935 to the late George Ollie Tew,

Sr., and Vernelle Tew, she was a member of North Oak Grove Baptist

Church.

She died on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2024 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care

Home.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Mary and Mackie Johnson

of Millry; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Delmar Tew of Chatom, Ala.,

and Walter C. "Tee" and Peggy Tew of Millry; her sister, Pearl Gant

of Millry; her sister-in-law, Diane Tew of Millry; four grandchildren

and their respective spouses, Jason and Tonia Johnson and Marcia and

Brian Coaker, all of Millry, Hollie and Phillip Long of Gilbertown,

Ala., and Jared and Kimberly Johnson of Millry; nine great-grandchildren

and their respective spouses, Annah and Jordan Whigham, Kaleb and Makala

Long, Christian Long, Zachary Coaker, Andrew Johnson, Brantley Johnson,

Adalyn Johnson, Dalton Denney and Brayden Denney; two

great-great-grandchildren, Ryker Long and Bentley Whigham; and a host of

nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex. A. Hester; her parents,

George Olli Tew, Sr., and Vernelle Tew; six brothers, George Ollie Tew,

Jr., William M. Tew, Jimmy Tew, Harold Ray Tew, Prentice A. Tew and

Clatis Tew, Sr.; and two sisters, Maxine Brown and Juanita Tew.

Pallbearers were Kaleb Long, Jordan Whigham, Christian Long, Zachary

Coaker, Andrew Johnson and Brantley Johnson.

Born on July 3, 1935, she was a retired Resource Teacher with Friends of

Children of Mississippi.

She died on Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024 at Mobile Infirmary in Mobile, Ala.

She is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Nolan and Erma

Jean Hardy, Jr., of McIntosh, Ala., James Curtis of Denvor, Colo., and

David O'Neal and Rebecca Hardy of Hattiesburg; her stepson and his

spouse, Albert and Charlestine Johnson of Atlanta, Ga.; four daughters

and three sons-in-law, Ruby Jewel Johnson, Emma Louise and James Jordan

of Waynesboro, Susie Ann and Gerald Hardy-Brewer of Biloxi and Melissa

Ann and Anthony Laffitte of Waynesboro; her brother and sister-in-law,

James and Elizabeth Ann Nelson of Mobile, Ala.; 53 grandchildren, 81

great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She is survived by her brother, Will Moss of Pittsburg, Calif.; and her

Born in Choctaw County, Ala., on Tuesday, Jan. 29, 1935 to Edward

Robinson and Mary Magdalene Robinson, he was a member of Cedar Creek

Holy Church of God. He was a retired Carpenter.

He died on Monday, Jan. 22, 2024 at Springhill Medical Center in Mobile,

Ala.

He is survived by his wife, Minerva Robinson of Citronelle; his son and

daughter-in-law, Michael and Rebecca Robinson of State Line; his

daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Wayne Robinson of Citronelle; a

brother, Al Robinson of Gilbertown; his sisters and brother-in-law,

Doris Campbell of Gilbertown and Jeanette and Roy Boykin of Gilbertown;

his grandchildren and their respective spouses, Valerie and C.J. Ezell,

Mariah Robinson and Jonathan Robinson; and a great-grandchild, Elisabeth

Ezell.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Robinson; his mother,

Magdalene Robinson; and his sisters, Sylvia McIlwain and Carolyn

Willoughby.
