Correction on Election Story

In the e-edition of the Aug. 17 issue of The Wayne County News, a typographical error gives readers the wrong date for the runoff election for Justice Court Judge, Post 2. In the e-edition, the date is incorrect, but the actual story posted separately should have the correct date.

The date for the runoff is Tuesday, Aug. 29. The proofreader caught the original error and the editor thought he had corrected when, in fact, he corrected only in the story and not on the page for the e-edition.

We regret any inconvenience this might have caused and are happy to set the record straight at this time.
