Funeral services for Eddie James Whigham, 52, of Waynesboro, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home, with Dr. Detra Bishop officiating.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at New West Cemetery.

Born on Nov. 29, 1968, he was a Logger.

He died on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021 at Copiah County Medical Center in Hazlehurst.

Funeral services for Debra Ann Marshall, 56, of Pachuta, will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 from Chapel Hill Baptist Church in Pachuta, with Rev. Brinson officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30-11 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2021 from Chapel Hill Baptist Church.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at the church cemetery.

Born on May 3, 1965, she died on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at Rush Foundation Hospital in Meridian.

She died on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 at Pine View Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro.

Graveside services for Travis Bernard Everett, 55, of Waynesboro, were conducted on Sunday, Nov. 21, 2021 from Waynesboro Cemetery, with Minister Chris Dukes officiating.

Born on Aug. 6, 1966, he was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a Welder and Fabricator with Howard Industries.

He died on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.

He is survived by two sons, Qudarius Cunningham and Brandon Everett; a daughter, Raven Everett; three brothers, Curtis Leroy Everett, Kenneth Everett and Timothy L. Everett; four sisters, Debra Louise Whitfield, Tina Rena Smith, Lesia Everett and Shretta Everett; and four grandchildren.

WILLIE MAE TURNER

Graveside services for Willie Mae Turner, 90, of Millry, Ala., were conducted on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021 from Mt. Zion Cemetery in Millry, with Rev. Johnny R. Edwards officiating.

Born on Sept. 5, 1931, she was retired from the retail industry (TWL).

She died on Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021 in Quitman.

She is survived by her sister, Queen Napier and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, two brothers and three sisters.

HAZEL WALLER HOLMES

Graveside services for Hazel Waller Holmes, 93, of Waynesboro, will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 from Arrington Cemetery in Waynesboreo, with Dr. Stephen Smith officiating. Visitation will be from 1-1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 17, 2021 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.

Born in Waynesboro on Saturday, March 3, 1928 to Harvey Waller and Ruby Waller, she was a member of West Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was a Homemaker.

She died on Monday, Nov. 15, 2021 at Wayne General Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janet Bowdin of Acworth, Ga.; her brother-in-law, James Bush of Waynesboro; her sister-in-law, Etta Waller of Saraland, Ala.; three grandchildren and their respective spouses, Sabrina and Leonard Roberts, Donnie and Awanda Bowdin and Erick Bowdin; four great-grandchildren, Bianca Bowdin, Waylon Bowdin, Jeffrey Roberts and Elana Roberts; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Holmes; her father, Harvey Waller; her mother, Ruby Waller; her son, Glen Bowdin; her brother, Troy Waller; and two sisters, Mary Bush and Joyce Hosmer.

Marilyn Sue Cook, 65, of Ponca City, Okla., was born on July 1, 1956 to D.V. and Wilma Cook of Waynesboro, MS. She passed from this life on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2021.

She is preceded in death by her parents, D.V. and Wilma Cook; her maternal grandparents, William Robert and Lula C. Freeman; her paternal grandparents, Clinton and Lola Cook; a brother, Robert Clinton "Bobby" Cook, all of Waynesboro, MS.

She is survived by her three sons, Vernon Cook of San Diego, Calif., Michael Wayne King and wife, Kelli, and Daniel L. King, all of Faulkner, MS; grandchildren, Cecilia King, Wesley A. King and Leslie H. King, all of Faulkner, MS, and Madison L. King of Faulkner; two great-grandchildren, Ava J. King and Axl W. King, both of Faulkner, MS; a brother, Jimmy Dell Cook of Monroeville, Ala.; an aunt, Melba Chapman; an uncle and his wife, Aubrey and Faye Cook, all of Waynesboro, MS; and several cousins and friends.

Marilyn Sue was most proud of her family. Her greatest accomplishments in life were her three boys. She leaves behind beautiful memories that will leave lasting impressions on us all.

A graveside service was conducted on Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021 with a lateen lighting ceremony at Hiwannee Baptist Church Cemetery in Wayne County, with Rev. Aubrey Cook officiating.
