CHARLOTTE ANN DIXON

Funeral services for Charlotte Ann Dixon, 40, of Millry, Ala., were
conducted on Saturday, Sept. 17, 2022 from New Beginnings Family Church
in Millry, Ala.
Interment followed at Sand Ridge Cemetery in Millry.
Born on Sept. 16, 1981 in Mobile, Ala., to William and Hazel Dixon, she
died on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022 in Jackson.
She is survived by her father, William "Bill" Dixon of Millry; her
sister and brother-in-law, Amanda Dixon and Dennis McLain of Clara; her
nieces, Chloe Olivia McLain, Arya Faith McLain and Claire Annette
McLain, all of Clara; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Hazel "Nett" Brown Dixon; her
brother, Anthony Kendall Lowery; and her grandparents, Wesley T. Brown,
Margaret Brown, Mannie Lee Dixon and Annie Frances Dixon.
Serving as pallbearers were Shane McIlwain, Stetson Brown, Sion Brown,
Matthew Metizler, Riley Anderson, Victor Moss, Chris Cook and Ian
Finney.

ANGELA LYNETTE NELSON

Graveside services for Angela Lynette Nelson, 54, of Waynesboro, were
conducted on Thursday, Sept. 15, 2022 from Davenport Cemetery in
Shubuta, with Rev. Darious Edmonson officiating.
Born on March 16, 1968, she worked at Mississippi State Hospital/Jackson
Medical Mall.
She died at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson.
She is survived by her son, Jacobi Nelson of Atlanta, Ga.; her aunt,
Bertha McLendon Collins; and her siblings, Edna McLendon and Bertha
McLendon, both of Waynesboro.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert McLendon; and her
mother, Bertha McLendon.
McDonald and Sons Funeral Home of Waynesboro was in charge of
arrangements.
