CONNIE FARRIOR

Funeral services for Connie Farrior, 86, of Waynesboro, were conducted

on Sunday, Aug. 21, 2022 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with

Rev. Terry Williams officiating.

Interment followed at Waynesboro Cemetery.

Born in Wayne County on Friday, Nov. 8, 1935 to the late George W.

Culpepper and Mondelle Henderson Culpepper, she was a member of

Riverside Baptist Church. She was retired from the Wayne County

Sheriff's Department, where she was an Office Secretary.

She died on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022 at Select Specialty Hospital in

Jackson.

She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Marvin "Bo" and Tonda

Farrior, Jr., of Waynesboro and Mark and Stephanie Farrior of Madison;

four daughters and three sons-in-law, Cherrie and Jack Hammond of

Ardmore, Okla., Sandra Sullivan of Waynesboro, Deborah and Allen Douglas

of Waynesboro and Lynn and Calvin Hyatt of Waynesboro; two brothers,

Ronald Culpepper of Deer Park, Ala., and Darrel Culpepper of Laurel; her

sister, Mary Palmer of Waynesboro; 13 grandchildren and 14

great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin M. Farrior, Sr.; her

father, George W. Culpepper; her mother, Mondelle Henderson Culpepper; a

son-in-law, Randy Sullivan; two brothers, William "Bill" Culpepper and

Robert "Bobby" Culpepper; and her sister, Hazel Sellers.

JIMMY MCDOUGLE

Dec. 10, 1957-Aug. 6, 2022

Funeral services for Jimmy McDougle, 64, of Mississippi, were conducted

on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022 from Pleasant Grove Church, with PAstor

Donald Miller officiating.

Interment followed at Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery.

Born on Dec. 10, 1957, he was worked in the plywood industry.

He died on Saturday, Aug. 6, 2022 at University Medical Center in

Jackson.

He is survived by his mother, Rhadie Mae Smith; and his father, Calvin

Wilson.

JESSIE STEVE MORGAN

Sept. 19, 1942-Aug. 18, 2022

Graveside services for Jessie Steve Morgan, 79, of Waynesboro, were

conducted on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2022 from Pleasant Grove Methodist

Church Cemetery in Waynesboro, with Rev. Curtis Cain officiating.

Born in Pine Hill, Ala., on Saturday, Sept. 19, 1942 to the late Jesse

B. Morgan and Mazie Morgan, he was a member of Pleasant Grove Methodist

Church. He was retired as an Inspector and Surveyor for the Mississippi

Department of Transportation.

He died on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his

loving family.

He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Jane Murray Morgan of

Waynesboro; his daughter and son-in-law, Angie Lynn and David Rhyne of

Waynesboro; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Warren and Susan Morgan of

Seminary and Larry Morgan of Citronelle, Ala.; his sister, Dinah Coley

of Pine Hill, Ala.; four grandchildren and their respective spouses,

Trent and Heather Ramagos of Memphis, Tenn., Gage and Lorraine Dear of

Jacksonville, Ark., Noah Loftin of Waynesboro and Levi Loftin of

Waynesboro; and for great-grandchildren, Nettie Dear, Rossey Dear,

Rhiannon Dear and Morag "Shelly" Ramagos.

He was preceded in death by his father, Jesse B. Morgan; his mother,

Mazie Morgan; a daughter, Monica "Shelly" Ramagos; and a brother, Paul

Morgan.

LELA B. DAVIS

Jan. 8, 1953-Aug. 11, 2022

Graveside services for Lela B. Davis, 89, of Buckatunna, were conducted

on Friday, Aug. 19, 2022 from Philadelphia Baptist Church Cemetery, with

Rev. Darron Chapman officiating.

Born on Jan. 8, 1953, she was a Field Hand, a Housekeeper, a Store Clerk

and an Employee with the Mississippi Forestry Commission's Waynesboro

Nrusery.

She died on Thursday, Aug. 11, 2022 at Wayne Generla Hospital.

She is survived by three sons, George R. Davis, Jimmy D. Davis and

Graylon Davis, all of Waynesboro' her daughters, Charlie Mae, Percy

Jean, Kathy, Juanita, Robin and Sylvia Miller; her brothers, Mack H.

Davis and Richard Davis; 40 grandchildren, 62 great-grandchildren and 10

great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Beatrice McConnell Davis; her

father, Roosevelt Davis; a daughter, Minnie R. Davis; Sherman Roosevelt

Davis and five brothers.
