WILLIAM "ANTHONY" FRASIER

Funeral services for William "Anthony" Frasier, 66, of Waynesboro, were

conducted on Sunday, July 10, 2022 from Little Rock Assembly of God

Church, with Rev. Ryan Power, Rev. Randy McLeod and Rev. Phillip Gandy

officiating.

Interment followed at Little Rock Cemetery.

Born in Grenada on Wednesday, Jan. 25, 1956 to William Emmett Frasier

and Joyce Ernestine Frasier, he was a member of Little Rock Assembly of

God Church. He worked as Owner and Operator of A&J Barber Shop.

He died on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.

He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Joyce Frasier

of Waynesboro; his father, William Emmett Frasier of Louisville; two

sons and daughters-in-law, Jarrod and Crystal Frasier of Waynesboro and

Kyle and Lacie Frasier of Laurel; a special nephew and his spouse, Heath

and Amber Barnette of Laurel; three sisters and two brothers-in-law,

Gail and Ray Uhrich of Jacksonville, Ark., Kay Ming of Louisville and

Jan and Robert Lowery of Louisville; six grandchildren, Drake Frasier,

Grant Frasier, Landon Frasier, Londyn Frasier, Dylan Barnette and Lakeyn

Barnett; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Joyce Ernestine Frasier; and a

daughter, Amy Marie Frasier.

Feb. 21, 1961-July 6, 2022

Funeral services for James "Jay" Green, 61, of Waynesboro, were

conducted on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral

Home, with Dr. Steven Bruns and Jayce Green officiating.

Interment followed at Waynesboro Cemetery.

Born in Waynesboro on Tuesday, Feb. 21, 1961 to the late Jack Frasier

Green and Elaine Reynolds Green, he was a member of Waynesboro First

United Methodist Church. He was retired as a Maintenance Planner at Hood

Industries.

He died on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Anderson Memorial Hospital in

Meridian.

He is survived by his son, Jayce Green of Hattiesburg; his daughter and

son-in-law, Dr. Alyse Green and Tyler Blackwell of Meridian; his

grandson, Knox Green of Hattiesburg; and his granddaughter, Kadence

Green of Hattiesburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Frasier and Elaine Green.

ARTHUR CHARLES "SAUL" NELSON, SR.

Funeral services for Arthur Charles "Saul" Nelson, Sr., 75, of Quitman,

were conducted on Saturday, July 9, 2022 from Living Church of God

Pentecostal in Quitman.

Interment followed at Archusa Memorial Gardens in Quitman.

Born on July 4, 1946, he was a former Clarke County Supervisor. He also

was an insurance agent, worked at Turner Funeral Home, was a Board

Member with OUtreach Health Clinic, was a member of Masonic Lodge 407

and served as a Deacon and Trustee at Pearlie Grove Missionary Baptist

Church.

He died on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at his residence.

He is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Arthur "Artie"

and Shenikia Nelson, Jr., of Newton, Jeffery Nelson of Richmond, Texas

and Alfonzo and Letischa McDyess of Atlanta, Ga.; a daughter, Bridgett

Katriece Nelson of Pearl; a sister, Shirley Ruth Winbush of Albany,

N.Y.; 11 grandchildren, Carve, Romerian, Demeris, A'Keyia, Arteus,

Keshawna, Aquon, Ariya, Braxton, Abella and Zaven; a special friend,

Earlie Mae Gray; and two godchildren, Ronnie and Nicoria.

He was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, seven sisters, two

brothers and a grandson.

Funeral services for Brenda Gale Cochran, 81, of Waynesboro, were

Interment followed at Pleasant Grove United Methodist Cemetery.

Born on Wednesday, March 12, 1941 to the late Woodie Stone Clanton, Jr.,

and Pauline Clanton, she was a member of Pleasant Grove United Methodist

Church. She was retired as Owner and Operator of Cochran's Grocery.

She died on Thursday, July 7, 2022 at her residence.

She is survived by her children and their respective spouses, Billy and

Kaye Cochran, Jr., Colleen and Roy Foxworth, Timmy and Tina Cochran,

Paula Fulkerson and Dawn and Rev. Phillip Jenkins; her brother, Duane

Clanton of Waynesboro; her sister, Rhonda Womack of Pensacola, Fla.; 16

grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and eight

great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, B.L. Cochran; her father,

Woodie Stone Clanton, Jr.; her mother, Pauline Clanton; and two sisters,

Carol Baston and Penny Clanton.

Funeral services for Malcolm Leon "Mal" Evans, 42, of Meridian, were

Born on March 5, 1980, he was a Certified Nurse's Assistant.

He died on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Rush Foundation Hospital in

Meridian.

He is survived by four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Keith Weathers

of Waynesboro, Vincent and Deborah Payton of Brookhaven, Victor and

Tomecia Payton of Waynesboro and Thomas Payton of Waynesboro; four

sisters and two brothers-in-law, LaTonya and Arthur Lacey of State Line,

Center in Jackson.

She is survived by her parents, Harley Daniel Coxwell and Micah Janes

Beasley of State Line; two sisters, MaKiley Jade Coxwell and Cataleya

Rose Coxwell, both of State Line; her maternal grandparents, Michael

"Pappi" and Tina "Mammy" Beasley of Buckatunna; her paternal

great-grandfather, Thomas "Papa T" Coxwell of Buckatunna; her maternal

great-grandparents, Tommy and Linda Beasley of Buckatunna; her paternal

great-grandfather, Norris Coxwell of Buckatunna; two uncles and aunts,

Brandon and Tammy Baggett and Macon and Calli Holloman; four aunts and

Born on Sept. 22, 1938, she was a retired Dietician with Albany Medical

Center in Albany.

She died on Thursday, June 23, 2022 at St. Peters Hospital in Albany.

She is survived by he son, Willis Leggett of Albany; three daughters and

a son-in-law, Charlotte and Bobby Jones of Heidelberg, Linda

Leggett-Terrll of Albany and Shirley Leggett of Albany; her

grandchildren, Derek, Tiwana, Jazz, Deauntta, Deandre, Tanisha, Shakia,

Jeff, Cherell and Chavi; 10 great-grandchildren, a half-great-grandchild

with one forthcoming and one great-great-grandchild.
