DARRELL LAMAR SINGLEY

Funeral services for Darrell Lamar Singley, 72, of Waynesboro, will be

at 2 p.m. on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from Chapparal Baptist Church, with

Rev. Clay Conner officiating. Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on

Friday, July 1, 2022 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home, followed

by a life-in-state from 1-2 p.m. at Chapparal Baptist Church.

Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Chapparal

Cemetery.

Born in Butler, Ala., on Friday, April 7, 1950 to the late Eber and Ida

Mae Singley, he was retired as a Seismic Driller with Tideland Energy

Resources.

He died on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital in

Hattiesburg.

He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Lori Ann and Casey

Ordoyne and Brittany Evans and Matt Eidson, all of Waynesboro; his

sister, Cheryl Abston of Silas, Ala.; five grandchildren, Destin

Brumley, Tayler Ordoyne, Madison Ordoyne, Jordan Evans and Cheslie

Evans, all of Waynesboro; two step-grandchildren, Kassidy Eidson and

Baleigh Eidson, both of Waynesboro; and a great-grandchild, Carter

Brumley of Millry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Singley; his parents, Eber

and Ida Mae Singley; his sister, Ella Rene Hyatt; and a grandson, Tucker

Brumley.
