DARRELL DAVID CRAGER

Funeral services for Darrell David Crager, 74, of State Line, were conducted on Saturday, Oct. 23, 2021 from Pine Grove Baptist Church in Chicora, with Rev. Victor Chatham officiating.

Interment followed at Dailey Cemetery.

A 1966 graduate of State Line High School, he was a United States Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam Era. A member of Red Creek Missionary Baptist church, he loved the outdoors and the Ole Miss Rebels.

He is surveyed by his wife, Nora Dailey Crager of State Line; his children and their respective spouses, Tammy had Jamie Brown of Matherville, Ronnie Crager of State Line, Anita Lambert of Lucedale and Donald Wayne and Kathryn Crager of Laton Hill, Ala.; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Kenneth G. and Carol Crager of State Line and Alton and Wanda Crager of Waynesboro; and his sisters and brothers-in-law, Donnis and Dale Schrader of Leakesville and Starla Kay Hartley of Waynesboro.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Ida Ruth Crager; his sister, Patsy Crager; a grandson, Brandon Brown; and a great-grandson, Eastin Krystie.

Pallbearers were Devin Crager, Jonathan Crager, Blake Crager, T.J. Brown, Christopher Lambert, Colby Brown and Clayton Krystie as an alternate.

Jones and Son Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
