AUTUMN MARIE LETSON

Funeral services for Autumn Marie Letson, 17, of Waynesboro will be at
10 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral
Home, with Rev. Joey Rogers and Rev. David Tennyson officiating.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023 from the
Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.
Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Kimbrough
Cemetery in Millry, Ala.
Born in Waynesboro on Wednesday, Jan. 11, 2006 to Stephen Letson and
Robin Louise Knight, she was a Student at Wayne County High School.
She died on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2023.
She is survived by her father and his wife, Stephen and Laura Letson of
Gurley, Ala.; her mother and her husband, Robin Louise and Joseph Hudson
Knight of Waynesboro; three brothers, Tyler Letson, Brandon Letson and
Colton Letson, all of Gurley; a stepbrother, Ayden Hudson of Waynesboro;
three stepsisters, Serenity Street and Addison Hudson, both of
Waynesboro, and MaeMae Alley of Adamsville, Tenn.; her grandmothers,
Bonnie Hammonds of Silas, Ala., and Linda Knight of Waynesboro; and a
host of aunts and uncles.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Robert Hodge and Billy
Knight.

ALTON GUY
Aug. 4, 1938-Aug. 18, 2023
Funeral services for Alton Guy, 85, of State Line, were conducted on
Tuesday, Aug. 22, 2023 from Harvest Temple Church, with Rev. Edward Bean
officiating.
Interment followed at Providence Cemetery in State Line.
Born in State Line on Thursday, Aug. 4, 1938 to Earnest Guy and Mamie
Myrtis Sullivan Guy, he was a member of Harvest Temple Church. He had
worked as a Mechanic with Estabrook Ford Motor Company for 12 years,
then later became self-employed with Alton Guy Logging.
He served for 12 years on the Board of Southeast Mississippi Livestock
in Hattiesburg as a Director for the Wayne County area. He was proud to
have represented the Wayne County area in this capacity.
He enjoyed selling watermelons, cattle farming and anything that
involved associating with people. He always greeted everyone with a
smile.
He was a loving husband, brother, father, grandfather, great- and even
great-great-grandfather; a man who was very proud of his family.
He died on Friday, Aug. 18, 2023 at his residence.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Ell Kelley Guy of State
Line; his sons and daughters-in-law, Alton Dwayne and Paula D. Guy of
State Line and Phillip Douglas and Pamela Guy of State Line; his
daughter and son-in-law, Karen Guy and Carl Jordan of State Line; his
sisters, Rosa Lee Yarbrough of Saraland, Ala., Elizabeth Dennis of State
Line, Myrtis Alberta Dickinson of Citronelle, Ala., and Teresa Ann
McLaughlin of Clara; eight grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and a
great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, Earnest Guy; his mother, Mamie
Myrtis Sullivan Guy; his brothers, Earnest Lee Guy, William Earnest Guy,
Raybon Guy and Charles Clifton Guy; and his sisters, Lois Elmer Ezell,
Lillie Marie Batley, Hazel Burnice Allday and Linda Doris Albritton.
Pallbearers were Drake Guy, Dumas Milner, Joshua Guy, Joseph Guy, Jeremy
Jordan, Daniel Jordan, Jacob Jordan and Josh Guy. Honorary pallbearers
were Dalton Rutledge and Chase Barnes.

CECIL COIT O'DOM
Jan. 20, 1930-Aug. 3, 2023
Funeral services for Cecil Coit O'Dom, 93, of Waynesboro, were conducted
on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023 from Bridgeway Church, with Dr. DeJuan Walley
officiating.
Interment followed at Coyt Cemetery.
Born in Waynesboro on Monday, Jan. 20, 1930 to Thomas Edward O'Dom and
Minnie Guthrie O'Dom, he served in the United States Air Force and was a
Veteran of the Korean War. A member of Bridgeway Church, he retired as a
Service Manager with Reliable Trucking.
He died on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2023 at Brookwood Villa Personal Care Home
in Waynesboro.
He is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Gerald and Jill O'Dom
and Gary and Sandra O'Dom; his daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Scott
Besson; his grandsons and their respective spouses, Austin O'Dom and
Cade and Kaleigh Clanton; two granddaughters and their respective
spouses, Shea Clanton and Audra and Bryson Brewer; his
great-granddaughter, Ava O'Dom; his great-grandson, Bear Brewer; several
nieces and nephews and a special cousin, Glen O'Dom.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gatha McInnis O'Dom; his father,
Thomas Edward O'Dom; his mother, Minnie Guthrie O'Dom; his brother,
Doyle O'Dom; and a special cousin, Craig O'Dom.
Pallbearers were Al Harrison, Steve Odom, Larry Blair, Elgin Mcinnis,
Allen McInnis, Lonnie McInnis, Dail Odom, Terry Clanton and George
Stark.
