A memorial service for Joseph Glenn Repsher, 77, of Waynesboro, will be

conducted at a later date.

He was born on June 23, 1944 to Joseph Baker and Tommie (Tuttle) Repsher

in Quitman.

He died on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at his residence, surrounded by his

family.

He is survived by his wife, Jan (Thrash) Repsher; his daughter and

son-in-law, Alicia and Shane Lambert; his grandson and his spouse,

Christopher and Amanda Lambert; and his brother and sister-in-law, Roy

and Judy Repsher.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Baker and Tommie

(Tuttle) Repsher; and several aunts and uncles.

Graveside services for Bettie G. Rich, 82, of Waynesboro, will be at

2:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from Waynesboro City Cemetery, with

Rev. Danny Ray Bolton officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on

Thursday, May 19, 2022 from the Chapel of McDonald and Sons Funeral

Home.

Born on Nov. 18, 1939, she was a Restaurant Cook.

She died on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Forrest General Hospital in

Hattiesburg.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Zanetia and Charles

Henry, Valesia and Robert Warren and Tuyuana and Scott Frost; four

brothers and three sisters-in-law, Roger and Deloris Morgan, Lee Morgan,

Lawrence and Winder Jean Morgan and Styron and Sherry Morgan; 11

grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces,

aunts, cousins, relatives and friends.

Graveside services for Donna Chapman, 54, of Shubuta, will be at 11 a.m.

on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from New Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery, with

Rev. Willis officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. on

Friday, May 20, 2022 from the Chapel of McDonald and Sons Funeral Home.

Born on Nov. 16, 1967, she died on Sunday, May 15, 2022 at Anderson

Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her son, TyKerrius Chapman; her daughter, Brittany

Chapman; her sisters and their spouses, Tikia Chapman, Adrianne and

Darian Parks, Jaquasha Chapman, Raychell Chapman and Greta Chapman; her

brothers and their spouses, Christopher and Angie Chapman, Timothy and

Shacorey Chapman and Marcus and Nikki Chapman; her grandchild, Aubrey

Chapman; and a host of nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, cousins,

relatives and friends.

Funeral services for Oliver Lendell Banks, Jr., 90, of Shubuta, were

conducted on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from Mt. Mariah Baptist Church in

Melvin, Ala., with Rev. Cleo McGrew, Sr., officiating.

Interment followed at Kaiser Hill Cemetery in Melvin.

Born on March 29, 1932, he was a Retired Chemical Engineer with

Ciba-Geigy in McIntosh, Ala.

He died on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Wisteria Manor in Shubuta.

He is survived by his daughter, Sherrie Lynn Banks-Young of California;

two granddaughters, Marshelynn and Jessica; four great-grandchildren,

Jaylnn, Kaleb, Kobe and Koen; an aunt, Ruby Moody of Albany, N.Y.; and

two sisters-in-law, Annie Banks and Claudia Banks of Melvin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife and nine siblings.

Funeral services for Mary Jane Daniels, 70, of Waynesboro, were

conducted on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from Sweet Hope Missionary Baptist

Church, with Brother Chris Dukes officiating.

Interment followed at Serenity Gardens Cemetery.

Born on Nov. 11, 1951, she was a Homemaker.

She died on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.

She is survived by two sounds, Mark Rankin of Texas and Deon Daniels of

Waynesboro; two daughters and a son-in-law, Marilyn and Michael Bates of

Tylertown and Denica Daniels of Hattiesburg; two sisters, Willie Mae

Rankin Loper and Janie Paicely of Waynesboro; 23 grandchildren, a host

of great-grandchildren and a special friend in Lawrence Hayes, Sr.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, seven sisters,

four brothers, a grandson, a stepdaughter and a stepson.

Born on Dec. 8, 1962, she was a Housewife.

She died on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Wayne General Hospital.

She is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Curtis Lee and

Shambrell Powe Brown, Jr. of Gautier, Rodrick Darcell Brown of

Waynesboro and Willanta Timon Brown of Ridgeland; two daughters and a

son-in-law, Adrienna Lamekia and Sammie McCann of Gautier and LaShonda

Danyell Brown of Pascagoula; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Spencer

and Cynthia Johnson and Willie and Kimberly Johnston of Dayton, Ohio,

Ray and Lula McGill Johnson of Waynesboro and Timothy and Brenda Johnson

of Birmingham, Ala.; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Beverly and

Jerry McCullum of Laurel, Angelia and Harry James of State Line and

Pearl and Artis Simpson of Ellisville; her mother, Bertha McCann of

State Line; seven grandchildren, a great-grandchild and a special friend

EVA ELAINE GARDNER CHANCELOR

June 6, 1947-April 5, 2022

Eva Elaine Gardner Chancelor, 74 of Stonewall went to be with her Lord

and Savior on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at her home.

She was born on June 6, 1947, to Ellis and Eva (Snellgrove) Gardner in

Waynesboro.

Eva is survived by her loving Husband, Darrell Chancelor, Daughter,

Laurie M. (Michael) Pafford, Son, John Gardner Martin, Daughter, Kim

Chancelor, Son, Jon (Amber) Chancelor, Son, Blake (Emily) Chancelor,

Grandchildren, Cameron Chancelor, Reagan Chancelor, Brady Chancelor,

Cooper Chancelor, and Margaret Camille Chancelor, Sister, Emma Ruffin,

Brother-in-law, Donald Brown, Sister-in-law, Susan Philley Chancelor,

Brother-in-law, Timothy (Shelia) Chancelor, nieces and nephews whom she

loved dearly, and extended family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ellis and Eva Gardner, Sister,

Mary Ellis "Mimi" Gardner, Brother, James "Buddy" Gardner,

Sister Erma Ruth Brown.

Eva was a highly devoted educator. A graduate of Waynesboro High

School, she then obtained degrees from Jones County Junior College and

the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in

Education. She received her Dual Master's Degree from Mississippi

State University in Special and Elementary Education.

During her 35-year teaching career, she taught in the Quitman and

Enterprise School Districts. Eva taught GED for twenty years at Jones

County Junior College. Upon retiring from The State, she worked for

three years at The Choctaw Tribal School. She was a scholastic judge

for The Mississippi Distinguished Young Women Scholastic Program for

fifteen years. As a member of First Baptist Church of Quitman, she loved

teaching vacation bible school. She left a lasting impact on hundreds of

students, all of whom were special to her.

Eva had a great love for life and laughter, her family, her many friends

and her community. She loved her animals, her birds, gardening,

playing bunko and train dominos. She leaves a lasting legacy.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, April 9, 2022 from The

First Baptist Church of Quitman, with Dr. Gene Neal and Rev. Dennis

Coats officiating. Interment followed at Chancelor Cemetery at Rolling

Creek.
