Graveside services for Tito Donzell McCall, 42, of Shubuta and formerly
of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022
from Bethlehem Cemetery in Shubuta, with Rev. Terry Jones officiating.
Visitation will be from 12-6 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022 from the Chapel
of Turner Funeral Home.
Born on June 22, 1979, he was a Construction Worker.
He died on Sunday, Aril 24, 2022 in Shubuta.
He is survived by his daughter, Alinda McCall; his mother, Elaine
McCall; his grandmother, Ella Mae Gray; and four sisters, Tomekia
McCall, Marquarita McCall, Shawanda McCall and Syreeta Young.

GABRIELLE "GABBY" BOUTWELL
June 18, 1998-April 29, 2022
Funeral services for Garbrielle "Gabby" Boutwell, 23, of Decatur, were
conducted on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral
Home, with Brother Craig Jackson officiating.
Interment and EMS Honors (Final Call) followed at Shirley Place Cemetery
in Wayne County.
Born in Laurel on Thursday, June 18, 1998, she knew early in life that
she wanted to make a big difference in this world by saving the lives of
others and helping the sick and injured. She followed in the footsteps
of her big sister by becoming a licensed National Registered Paramedic
in Alabama, Louisiana and Mississippi, working as a
Paramedic/Supervisors for ASAP Ambulance Service.
She will always be remembered by her co-workers and peers as an amazing
Paramedic who touched the lives of many people. She left this life as a
Medica while still saving the lives of others as she chose to give the
gift of life as an Organ Donor.
She died on Friday, April 29, 2022 at University of South Alabama (USA)
Medical Center in Mobile, Ala.
She is survived by her wife, Shannon Moore of Scooba; her parents,
Johnie Ray Boutwell, Sr., and Brenda Hutto Boutwell, both of Clara; two
sisters and a brother-in-law, Jennifer Boutwell of New Orleans, La., and
Arristie and Rob Parker of Clara; two brothers and sisters-in-law,
Johnie and Denise Boutwell, Jr., of Lake Charles, La., and Chris and
Annette Boutwell of Waynesboro; her niece, Madelyn; three nephews,
Conner, Bryson and Dominic; and her beloved dog, Axel "Smoosh."

Funeral services for Janet Pitts, 79, of Waynesboro, were conducted on
Saturday, April 30, 2022 from Corinth Freewill Baptist Church in Wayne
County, with Rev. Ronald Nowell officiating.
Interment followed at Mulberry Cemetery in Wayne County.
Born in Vinegar Bend, Ala., on Sunday, March 7, 1943 to Troy Williams
and Evon Williams, she was a member of Corinth Freewill Baptist Church.
She had worked as a Quality Control Inspector with Sunbeam Corporation.
She died on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at her residence.
She is survived by her son, Elton Lamar Pitts, Jr., of Waynesboro; her
daughter, Vickie Morris of Waynesboro; three sisters, Johnie Bruce of
Satsuma, Ala., Shawn Robinson of Baton Rouge, La., and Shannon Slay of
Wayensboro; two grandchildren and their respective spouses, Robert
Morris of Waynesboro and Jana and Johnny Smith of Waynesboro; and a
great-grandchild, Kyler Smith of Waynesboro.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elton L. Pitts, Sr.; her
father, Troy Williams; her mother, Evon Williams; two brothers, Albert
Troy Williams and Tony Williams; and her sister, Stacy Smith.
Pallbearers were Shane Smith, Jay Holifield, Montana Hovatter, Allen
Reed, Tyler Slay and Tony Slay.

ANITA BLACKLEDGE CLECKLER
Nov. 3, 1941-April 25, 2022
Funeral services for Anita Blackledge Cleckler, 80, of the Pleasant
Grove community in Wayne County, were conducted on Friday, April 29,
2022 from First Baptist Church of Laurel, with Rev. Randy Turner
officiating.
Interment followed at Hickory Grove Cemetery in Laurel.
Born on Nov. 3, 1941, she was a military wife who found her close walk
with God lead her to teach Sunday School from coast to coast. She
continued to do so at First Baptist Church of Laurel for its sixth-grade
children, even to the present.
She went to college later in life to become a Registered Nurse. She
worked at hospitals in Laurel and Jackson before taking a position with
Wayne Farms as its Company Nurse. After that, she became a Nurse for
Camellia Home Health, traveling around the state and retiring in her
early 70's. She touched many lives, both while working as a nurse and by
being the faithful Christian woman she was.
She died on Monday, April 25, 2022.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Vicki and Mark Hall
of Hattiesburg, Sheila and Ronny Hendry of Waynesboro, and Melodie and
Jonathan Carr of Lawrenceville, Ga.; two sons and daughters-in-law,
Phillip and Heather Cleckler of Owens Cross Roads, Ala., and John and
Olivia Cleckler of Oak Ridge, N.C.; seven grandsons and their respective
spouses, Daniel and Lindsey Beard of Ridgeland, Jim and Dollie Beard of
Corinth, Jason and Ana Rawson of Atlanta, Ga., Jeremy Rawson of
Waynesboro, Harley Cleckler of Owens Cross Roas, Ala., Reid Cleckler of
Oak Ridge and William Cleckler of Oak Ridge; a bonus grandson, Colby
Hendry; three granddaughters and one on the way, Hayden Cleckler of
Decatur, Ala., Meredith Cleckler of Decatur and Sarah Cleckler of Oak
Ridge; a bonus granddaughter, Paige Powe; four great-grandchildren, Remy
Rawson, Miles Rawson, Evelyn Beard and Hudson Beard; and two bonus
great-great-grandsons, Breece White and Taysom White.

Funeral services for James David Rivers, 84, of Pascagoula, were
conducted on Friday, April 29, 2022 from Pineville Baptist Church.
Interment followed at Pineville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Born on April 4, 1938, he died on Sunday, April 17, 2022 at Plaza
Community Living Center.
He is survived by his wife, Pearl Rivers; his son, James Rivers, Jr.;
two daughters, Theresa Snowden of Gautier and Sharon Stennis of Moss
Point; five sisters, Lela Davis of Moss Point, Dessie Rivers of Chicago,
Ill., Rosia B. Woulard, Rose Mary Poue and Sherry Commissong, all of
Waynesboro; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Willie Rivers of Moss
Point, Jessie and Francie Rivers, Jr., and Stevie and Sharon Rivers, all
of Waynesboro; his sister-in-law, Freddie Mae Rivers of Hialeah, Fla.;
his brother-in-law, Jessie McCarty of Moss Point; four grandchildren and
their respective spouses, Nikia Burns of Alexandria, La., Travis and
Charmaine Rivers of Mobile, Ala., Jasmine James of Moss Point and Kayla
Stennis of Las Vegas, Nev.; four great-grandchildren, DaMontray,
Charmarie and Tramaine Rivers, all of Mobile, and Jersy James of Moss
Point; his aunt, Ruby Yates; his devoted friend, Harvey Darden of

GLADYS "COOKIE" BUNCH

Funeral services for Gladys "Cookie" Bunch, 82, of Waynesboro, were
conducted on Friday, April 22, 2022 from Little Rock Assembly of God
Church, with Rev. Ryan Powers and Rev. Jason Merritt officiating.
Interment followed at Little Rock Cemetery.
Born in Millry, Ala., on Thursday, June 15, 1939 to Steve Dunn and
Hessie Dunn, she was a member of Little Rock Assembly of God Church. She
worked as a Cashier at Sunflower for 28 years and later worked at
Walmart for several years.
She is survived by her husband, Huey P. Bunch; her son, Dale and Sherry
Bunch; two daughters and a son-in-law, Judy Bunch and Tracy and Joey
Foy, all of Waynesboro; nine grandchildren and their respective spouses,
Jayla and Brandon Hegwood, Ashley and Donald Wayne Cooley, Justin Foy,
Jacob Foy, Chance Bunch, Dylan Bunch, Auston Bunch, Schlee Bunch and
Amanda Williams; 10 great-grandchildren and two
great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Steve Dunn; her mother, Hessie
Dunn; her brother, Bud Dunn; and two sisters, Louise Holyfield and
Berniece Shetler.
Pallbearers were Jacob Foy, Justin Foy, Auston Bunch, Brandon Hegwood,
Donald Wayne Cooley, Billy Wayne Bunch, Dylan Bunch and Kevin Malone.

BETSY HELEN (ROSS) BAZOR
June 26, 1944-April 19, 2022
Graveside services for Betsy Helen (Ross) Bazor, 77, of Clara, were
conducted on Thursday, April 21, 2022 from White House Cemetery in
Clara, with Rev. Jesse Long III and Rev. Curtis Cain officiating.
Born on June 26, 1944 to Terry and Priscilla (Mills) Ross, she was a
graduate of Clara High School and Jones County Junior College. She
accompanied her husband, Freddy, as he completed studies at Mississippi
State University.
She worked as a Bookkeeper for Bazor Pulpwood Company prior to illness.
Betsy was a faithful member of Clara United Methodist Church, spending
many years as organist.
She dearly loved her family, including her husband, Freddy; son,
Brantley; daughter-in-law, Tina; and especially her grandchildren,
Brittney, Jennifer and Brant.
She died after extended illness on Tuesday, April 19, 2022 at Southern
Living Specialty Care.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Freddy Bazor; her son and
daughter-in-law, Brantley and Tina Bazor; three grandchildren and their
respective spouses, Brittney Bazor, Jennifer and Blake Volrath and Brant
Bazor; her niece and her husband, Suzanne and Bo Smith; her nephew,
Terry Hutto; and two great-nephews, Chan Smith and Ross Hutto.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Terry Ross and Priscilla
(Mills) Ross; her sister, Jane (Ross) Hutto; her brother-in-law, Albert
Hutto; her father-in-law, Fred Bazor; her mother-in-law, Yuba (Smith)
Bazor-Bowling; and Percy Bowling.

at Southern Living Specialty Care, Dr. Kelvin Sherman and Wayne General
Hospital for the years of care given to Mrs. Betsy.

"Chuckie" and Rosemary Collins of Waynesboro, Nakia and Teresa Collins
of Waynesboro and David and Pereynthia Collins of Ridgeland; two
daughters, Stepfanie Collins of Albany and Bianca Collins; a godchild,
Samuel Duane Coleman of Bronx, N.Y.; a special granddaughter, Bey'once
Cooley; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and her
mother-in-law.

Born on July 12, 1941, she was a retired CNA with Lakeside Living Center
in Quitman.
She died on Monday, March 28, 2022 at Rush Foundation Hospital in
Meridian.
She is survived by her brother, Wiley Nunn of Huntsville, Ala.; and six
sisters, Jewelen Johnson, Eartha Coleman, Irene Williams, Debbie Nunn,
Lida Nunn and Bale Nunn of Indianapolis, Ind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three
brothers.
