Funeral services for Jeraldine Pryor, 79, of Laurel, will be at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Tommy Mosley officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 12, 2020 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.
Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.
Born in Laurel on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 1940 to Johnny Easterling and Edith Easterling, she was a member of Mill Creek Church of God.
She died on Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2020 at her residence in Laurel.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jeannie and Buck Robinson and Laura and Tim Hall, all of Laurel; a brother and sister-in-law, Jim and Barbara Easterling of Laurel; a sister and brother-in-law, Jan and Robert Lynn Mitchell of Laurel; five grandchildren and their respective spouses, Jerea and Jacob Havard of Lucedale, Curtis and Julie Robinson of Laurel, Jamie Dykes of Laurel, Jessie and Joseph Watson of Laurel and Joseph Hall of Laurel; and a great-grandchildren, Scarlett Mayo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Joe Pryor; her father, Johnny Easterling; her mother, Edith Easterling; a daughter, Suzanne Dykes; and a sister, Sherrianne Davis.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Gideon’s International.
