Funeral services for Pauline M. Davis, 87, of Waynesboro, will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 9, 2020 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Allen Randall and Rev. David Hill officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 8, 2020 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.
Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Davis Family Cemetery in Clarke County.
Born in Waynesboro on Thursday, March 17, 1932 to Lloyd D. McAdams and Nannie Virginia McAdams, she was a member of Poplar Springs Methodist Church. She had worked for the Wayne County School District as a Bus Driver.
She died on Sunday, Jan. 5, 2020 at her residence.
She is survived by four sons and daughters-in-law, Hilton and Denise Davis, Douise and Anita Davis, Jimmy and Carman Davis and Ronnie and Ashley Davis, all of Waynesboro; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Jannette and Rickey Holloway of Greenville, Texas, Donna and Jerry Hutto of Waynesboro, Sally Ivey of Vossburg, Brenda and Robert Shelby of Clara and Linda and Dale Waller of Shubuta; 25 grandchildren and 47 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton Dabney Davis; her father, Lloyd D. McAdams; her mother, Nannie Virginia McAdams; and three brothers, Decell McAdams, Herbert McAdams and Virgil McAdams.
