Funeral services for Annie Mae “Doll Baby” Lindsey, 77, of Silas, Ala., will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. Bernice Fleming and Rev. Ronnie Morris officiating. Visitation will be from 5-9 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 3, 2020 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.
Following the funeral service, interment will take place at Cooper Chapel Cemetery in Choctaw County, Ala.
Born in Isney, Ala., on Friday, Feb. 20, 1942 to Thomas Lindsey and Annette Lindsey, she died on Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2020 at her daughter’s residence in Waynesboro.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy L. Redfern of Waynesboro; five brothers, John Thomas Lindsey, Roy Lindsey, Troy Lindsey, Floyd Lindsey and Lloyd Lindsey, all of Silas; six sisters, Voncile Holifield of Waynesboro, Lou Nell Logan of Gilbertown, Ala., Nelda Sikes of Silas, Lilly Beth “Tiny” Jenkins of Gilbertown, Mary Taylor of Silas and Charlotte Stokley of Millry; a granddaughter, Elizabeth “Lizzie” Kelly of Waynesboro; a grandson and his spouse, Harlan and Teresa Johnson of Waynesboro; and three great-grandchildren, Daniel Johnson, Thomas Kelly and Prentis Kelly.
