Funeral services for Genice Walley Wilson, 62, of Waynesboro, will be at 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from the Chapel of Freeman Funeral Home, with Rev. William R. Mills officiating. Visitation will be from 12-3 p.m. on Thursday, May 23, 2019 from the Parlor of Freeman Funeral Home.
Following the funeral service, interment will take place at White House Cemetery.
She was born in Waynesboro on Wednesday, Sept. 12, 1956 to Lester H. Walley and Geneva Malone Walley.
She died on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at her residence.
She is survived by her mother and her spouse, Geneva and Raleigh Cochran of Clara; her son and daughter-in-law, Steven and Ambra Bostick of Millry, Ala.; her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle Holifield and Chris Cash of Ellisville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Lester Wayne and Debbie Walley of Beat Four and James Timothy Walley of Waynesboro; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, her twin sister Genell Nash of Waynesboro, Brenda and Jimmy Pearson of Clara and Lisa and Charles Smith of Beat Four; five grandchildren, Memory Nicole Smith, Steven Clayton Barr, Grant Yates, Rebecca Yates and Macy Yates; and and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Carlie Wilson; and her father, Lester H. Walley.
Pallbearers will be J.T. Walley, Ben Walley, Hunter Walley, Corban Walley, Dexter Clark, Adam Johnson and William Nash.
